I was really looking forward to summer this year and it has come and gone so fast! Here are some random photos. . .
We found some farms that let you come and pick berries. The boys loved it. First up are blackberries.
Then blueberries.
We found out this summer that Cannon is extremely allergic to fire ants. He was playing in some dirt at the park and he was bitten 12 times. His hand swelled up 3xs the normal, got a rash, and took an allergy test to confirm. His scores were shockingly high! I made this mixture of baking soda and water to help with the itching and it made him dry heave every time he looked at it! So, now we keep epinephrine on us where ever we go and try not to freak out every time he goes outside!
Have I mentioned Cannon's obsession with fire fighters?! This is him in his gear . . .
This is him after he decided to wear "big boy" undies and earned his fire fighter clothes. . .

Cannon is a bit perturbed since we wouldn't let him get down and walk at the parade. We had just found out about his allergy to fire ants and weren't about to have an anaphylactic episode! Oh and happy 4th of July!

where do i begin...cannon is so cute in his firefighter gear. he looks so grown up. love chad working out in the garage in his black socks. and little chase...oh how adorable she is.
