It has only taken us 1 year and 6 months to complete our landscaping in our front yard!! TA DA! So we hear that Fall is the best season to plant, however have you ever gone to a nursery to pick out plants in October?? There is nothing left. Seriously everything is picked over. All I wanted was a pretty tree that would blossom and make the front of our home more inviting...and maybe one of those ceramic angels holding a bird feeder-eeewww yuck just kidding I hate those things. So Parker and I pick practically the last tree standing, put it in the back of the van and headed home. You might be thinking how do you just put a tree in the back of your car, well let me tell you. Its not hard to shove a stick with a few poky things on it in your car! We did however, get it for a really good price!!! Anyway, it was pretty for about a day or so until all of the 12 leaves blew off. We managed to find some other shrubs to fill in. Word to the wise- Go plant shopping in the Spring! It was great family bonding time in the freezing cold though!
